Does anyone have it, what types of complications did you have? I was told today I most likely do have it and I have an ultrasound next week to be sure. I'm really nervice about the possibility of infertility. I have other concerns, but they are ones that I can control.
for the people who are interested but don't know what it is here's a link with some FAQs about it.

I don't know much about it other than it is hard to diagnose and is often misdiagnosed. So be sure that's what it is before you have any surgery or medical procedures done.
Mine was diagnosed by my GP and I'm now on a repeat prescription for Metformin, usually administered to sufferers of Diabetes over here, as that actually helps control the symptoms. For example, I now have some idea when my next period's going to start. They happen about every 7 weeks, whereas before, they just happened when they happened. I could go as long as 6 months before I had one before I started on the medication. Other side effects include, panic attacks, depression and your hormones exploding through the roof. You'll know if and when that's going to happen, your head feels like it's so full of air there's so much pressure building up that you feel it's going to pop off and fly across the room like a blimming champaign cork, lol. That's the only way I can really describe it. Best thing to do if and when you feel it all happening, either, hide yourself away, let it all out in a good long howl, lol, if that fails, you're visiting friends or whatever and you don't really have time to run for the bathroom, usually the best place to let it out, do what I had to do last year, even though it's probably too late, grab one of your Metformin tablets, swallow that down so it'll work, eventually, flop on the sofa between your best friend and boyfriend, squeeze their hands so bloody hard they almost drop off, and try and controll the fact you know you've completely, lost control of your emmotional self, you're shaking all over, you're in a state of nervous collapse, bawling your eyes out and having a mild to moderate panic attack all at once, lol. It was Oo, about 15, 20 minutes or so before I calmed down enough to splutter the words "rocket fuel" meaning coffee. Being in your BF's arms is also a great help while all that's happening, lol. Our host whom we were staying with at the time though, compared it to class A or B drugs withdrawal symptoms. Nice!

Actually, I personally have never had any major emotional problems with either having PCO or taking metforman; (or however the blasted med is spelled). Anyways, PCO can cause difficulties getting pregnant, but from what I've found out if you take the MetForman as recommended and try to keep your weight down it's suppose to be fairly easy to conceive. I've been told that a large percent of PCO women can conceive with this alone, and if not with the help of a mild fertility drug. The worst part for me is the pain when I ovelate or form a full syst and it bursts (Ouch!!!) Though I also have to agree that being on the MetForman will help regulate your period and make the cramping easier; at least it does for me.
well I'm glad u started this Candi. I'm glad people can tell us more. Thanks peoples
